Very informative, presented in a professional, friendly, knowledgeable manner. Receptive to questions, scenarios, suggestions, ideas. Great presentation/manner for suggesting changes, addressing problems, giving advise. Liked individual attention to handler/dog. Easy to follow, understand and take notes. Enjoyed personal experiences with dogs, searches, first hand experiences. Like the "work together" attitudes, teamwork. Great insight to training methods for search dogs. Looking forward to working with Trace again soon. Appreciate being able to email/contact her with questions. (K9 Seminar - June 2008) Trace did a great job this weekend! It was so nice to see a different perspective on SAR work. You addressed every dog and handler with great professionalism. I especially loved all of the "Tricks of the Trade." Overall as a trainer, Trace is amazing. I only wish I would have met you sooner. You are so smart and knowledgeable on the subject. I hope to use everything you have taught me over the weekend to better my dog (and myself). I REALLY, REALLY would love to train with you again. (K9 Seminar - June 2008) This class was extremely well organized. Course objectives were completed as stated in the course syllabus. The course was taught in a combination of scenarios that built on each other. Classroom instruction was well organized, interesting and easy to follow. I feel we are better prepared as individuals as a team to handle search and rescue missions. (Wilderness Search and Rescue Course - March 2008) I did a lot of research before choosing the right trainer. I couldn't be happier with my dog because of Trace. Admittedly when I gave my dog to Tracy to train, he was out of control, didn't know anything, was overweight and spoiled. When I picked him up, he was a different dog. He was in perfect shape, very well behaved, focused and had incredible tracking skills. His obedience was outstanding and even though I didn't think he would do well at agility, he was great at that too. Tracy did an amazing job with him. She also taught me how to communicate with my dog and showed me how we can work together as a team. I also loved the fact that she considers every dog as a "member of her family" not just another dog. She spent lots of time with my dog, walking him, playing with him and training him every day. Also, her facility is wonderful. Perfect for training search dogs. It is beautiful, very clean and well kept. (Private Client - December 2007) Thank you for putting on such a wonderful seminar! I learned so much from those two days. Aside from the heat, I don't think there's anything I would have wanted to be different. You give great feedback and constructive criticism so as to not make your students feel inferior for not knowing better. The individualized assistance we all were able to receive was excellent. I can't wait to pass on the information to the rest of our team. Thanks again and it was great to meet you and work with you! (Human Remains Detection Seminar - August 2007) Tracy provides excellent instruction both with hands on opportunities and lecture. She provides honest and constructive feedback. The information provided is something you can apply immediately to your goals. She provides real world examples and offers advice and guidance based upon your own applied knowledge. I hope I can continue contact with Tracy as I continue my training. (Human Remains Detection Seminar - August 2007) As usual, awesome class. I appreciate the pace of the class -- one trail after another with good pointers and feedback in between for each dog team. Great place to hold the seminar with different terrain, lots of areas, opportunities for socialization and distraction. Your feedback is always upbeat. You are direct, but gentle so that the handler can see where the errors are without getting a bruised ego. I always learn from you and get inspired by you. (K9 Trailing Course - June 2007) Tracy did a great job teaching this class! She is very easy to learn from and keeps the class upbeat and positive. The night exercise was one of my favorite parts because it forced us to learn our area and how to find ourselves on the map. (Wilderness Search and Rescue Course - October 2006) |
